Call for Presentations

PA APCO Annual Spring Conference

April 15-18, 2018

Eden Resort and Suites – Lancaster, PA

It is once again time to begin planning for our Annual Spring Conference.  The PA APCO Annual Spring Conference offers a wonderful opportunity to present new information and ideas relevant to the Public Safety field. Speakers will gain visibility and credibility in the eyes of their peers while making a significant contribution to the Public Safety profession.  Over the years the PA APCO Annual Spring Conference has offered great networking opportunities and has led the way in providing informative presentations to all attendees.

If you would like to submit a proposal to present at the 2018 Annual Spring Conference, please fill out the Presentation Proposal Form and return it via email by January 15, 2018 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  Early confirmation of program topic and procedures will allow for pre-conference promotion of the educational opportunities that will be available at the PA APCO Spring Conference.

General session presentations are 50 minutes in length.  Sessions will be placed in one of three tracks over the three day conference. These tracks are specifically aimed toward Telecommunicator Training, Management and Technical. There are limited time slots for general sessions so early submission of the Presentation Proposal Form is beneficial.  All speakers that are commercial vendors affiliated with Public Safety must also contact Cindy Dietz, Commercial Committee Member, via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.   when submitting a Presentation Proposal Form for consideration.

The sessions offered at the PA APCO Annual Spring Conference provide the attendees with the opportunity to learn new information and technology associated with Public Safety.  The PA APCO Annual Spring Conference is also a great place to meet new people associated with Public Safety, make new friends, and continue long ago made friendships.

We hope to see you at the PA APCO Annual Spring Conference in April 2018!

Beth Baylor

2018 Annual Spring Conference Program Chairperson

Planning has begun for the PA Chapter’s 2018 Annual Conference, scheduled for April 15th   - 18th, 2018 at the Best Western Eden Resort in Lancaster.  Our committee is hard at work on what we believe will be a top-notch program again in 2018. This year we are offering an early bird option that will save you $75.00, if you commit with a $100.00 non –refundable deposit before November 1st.  Attached is the registration form for exhibit spaces and sponsorship.  We are pleased to be keeping all prices at the same levels of 2017.

Please reserve early to ensure your reservation of a space. The changes that were implemented in 2017 will continue in 2018. Consideration is being given to the feedback provided in the surveys that were received immediately after the 2017 conference, regarding changes in the food and eating spaces on vendor day.

Sponsorship have changed and are also outlined in the attached letter. Please consider being one of our GEM Level Sponsors.

If you are a vendor who wants to do an educational presentation and are not sponsoring a booth, you must choose an alternate conference sponsorship to be eligible to do a presentation. If you sponsor a booth, you are welcome to do a technical/educational presentation. You must register to be a presenter separately on the website this coming November. Your presentation must be neutral and may not be a sales presentation for your product.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Be sure to save the date for the Chapter’s annual Holiday Dinner on Thursday, December 14th.

Thank you,

Cindy Dietz
