P A A P C O Presents a Free Day of
Training at Adams County 9-1-1 Center

This course will provide for the students an overview of the basics of crisis negotiations
to include how to introduce yourself, how to calm the person down, what are trigger
words and the fact that this is a team effort. Actual events will be reviewed and some
roll playing will be performed. A large portion of this class will be spent on active listening skills.

Two concurrent tracks are being offered on this day. Sessions start at 08:00
and finish at 16:30 A continental breakfast and full lunch will be served.
