Planning is now underway for the 2026 PA APCO Annual Spring Conference, and we are seeking dynamic, knowledgeable speakers to share their expertise with the public safety communications community. This conference is a key opportunity to present new ideas, best practices, innovations, and lessons learned. Presenters gain recognition among peers, contribute valuable knowledge to the profession, and help advance the future of public safety communications in Pennsylvania and beyond.

The Pennsylvania APCO Chapter is proud to announce the opening of the Judy Brackin RPL Scholarship Award for the 2026 cycle. Designed to foster leadership within the communications community, this scholarship sponsors the tuition for one member to complete the comprehensive APCO Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) Program.

to honor her time and dedication to the field. Judy is a
long-time serving member of the PA Chapter who has
held numerous critical offices, including:

Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL)
The RPL Certificate Program is a comprehensive 12-month online program
respected widely across the communications community. It focuses on
developing the management and supervisory skills necessary for successful Emergency Communications Center (ECC) operations, including communicating
with clarity and building consensus.
